Youth & Family Concerts

Music education has been a priority of the Missoula Symphony since its founding in 1954. Within a decade, the Symphony began performing concerts specifically for children and their families. This tradition continues to the present day, with the annual Youth and Family Concerts.

At the Youth Concerts, elementary-aged students are welcomed to the Dennison Theatre for a free, one-hour performance. This collaboration with Missoula-area school districts makes it possible for young audiences to enjoy the symphony as a part of their school day.

This season’s Family Concert, Sherlock Holmes and the Missing Maestra, will take place on Saturday, February 1, at 3pm. Bring your whole family to experience an afternoon of music, education, enchantment, and audience interaction. Tickets for the family concert are not included in season ticket subscriptions. Tickets are $10.00 per person and may be added to your season ticket order. Find more information and a link to purchase tickets here.
