April 3 First Friday
Music: MPower Voices
Artist: Opportunity Resources
Community Partner: Opportunity Resources
Artists of Opportunity is the art program at Opportunity Resources Inc. a local non-profit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in individuals with disabilities. We consistently offer painting, drawing, digital art, and what we call three-hand pottery as everyday art mediums. In three-hand pottery an art staff will help guide the artists hand to make whatever they would like to make, in this way we are able to meet each artist where they are at. We hope to expand our art medium offerings at our soon-to-be art center that will be opening later this year and will be open to the community. Artists also receive 100% of the profit from artwork sold- so not only does art empower artists, but it also contributes to their income.
